Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Coping and Healing Counseling website (chctherapy.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services

Coping and Healing Counseling provides online therapy, counseling, and life coaching services through licensed professionals. Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are in a crisis, please call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 13 and older. Clients under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Our services are currently available to residents of the state of Georgia.

Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance
  • We require 24-hour notice for cancellations
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee

Payment and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service unless insurance coverage has been verified. We accept most major insurance plans. Copays and deductibles are the responsibility of the client. Self-pay options, HSA, and FSA are also accepted.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state laws. Information may only be disclosed with your written consent, except as required by law (e.g., mandatory reporting of abuse, imminent danger to self or others).

Limitations of Online Therapy

While online therapy is effective for many conditions, it may not be appropriate for all situations. Our therapists will assess whether online therapy is suitable for your needs and may recommend in-person care if necessary.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Coping and Healing Counseling and is protected by copyright law.

Limitation of Liability

Coping and Healing Counseling is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
